Originally, I loved it, but a new company took it over for version 5, and they tahledit degraded it. This is a good idea for a topic. I read music so the tab feature doesn’t interest me much.

I don’t usually purchase shareware programs that I download, but TablEdit is an amazing tool. I can read “regular” music but only very slowly. His is guitar tab, but TablEdit can easily convert it to mandolin. Not their core focus I guess, and its rare to fine tablrdit tabs in GP so it is tsbledit bit of a negative for us lot. Another use that I am finding is that it shows you what notes on a musical staff sound like when played.

I had no idea it existed until this week, and after spending only an hour playing around with it I was convinced I wanted to purchase it. I’d like to see some compilation of undocumented or poorly documented features. Although I use Finale for composition and arranging work, it sounds as though TablEdit may be more user friendly for banjo tabs.

Phill The software is incredible Jerome Your software looks great. I have little exposure to Guitarpro and any others but it seems to me they all notate correctly down to 64ths and possibly further. For some reason, acoustic musicians have tended to favor Tabledit.

Matthew I have compared your product with a demo of another tablature editing software, and yours is far superior! This seems to be the best program for that. Tableditt program to convert GP and PowerTab files to TablEdit format can be obtained from the Registered Users page it is also available out there on the Net at various sites. GuitarPro support though is bad Notated from the 6th fret you get a C not a G.

I don’t doubt your tableeit though, Brad There are a lot of little tricks and quirks in this program – It often surprises me with some of the newer ones which are added – and not documented.
