My kids all gobbled up the cookies, and that was after eating sugared up cake. Unfortunately, spelt is a common flour used in this book, and while most mckfnna with a gluten intolerance can handle it fine, my fiance cannot, so that’s a bit of a damper. Really, it is a beautiful cookbook with practical recipes if you are willing to commit to keeping your kitchen stocked with the ingredients. It’s not gluten-free because there’s spelt flour in here.
